lynne moore renowned artist

Welcome to Lynne Moore Art

LYNNE MOORE is an accomplished professional artist with a passion for extremes of landscape and climate, whether wild, snow-bound moorland, deserted beach, angry seas or arid desert. The essence of her work is her ability to capture the feeling of freedom, space and closeness to nature. Lynne started her career as a water-colour artist, painting sporting scenes of shooting landscapes and rivers. These were complimented by portrayals of country houses, gardens and seascapes.

Lynne now specialises in more contemporary pieces in oil, displaying a more modernistic approach to sky, sea and landscape. Her travels to, and her love of the world's wild places and their animals, has brought about a new vigour to her work and strength with her use of oils. Her involvement in animal and conservation work, in particular the African elephant and the Indian tiger, now desperately endangered, has increased a depth and understanding of her subject, much in evidence in her recent canvases.
